A French painter in love with Italy, Jean Constantin (Paris 1924 – Pisa 2009) left behind an immense and absolutely innovative body of work.
In December 2013, Jean Constantin’s work was presented for the first time at the Museo della Grafica in Pisa, retracing the career of an artist at once passionate and discreet, whose last gesture was to entrust his son with the mission of revealing his posthumous legacy.
Ten years after his death, this site pays tribute to him by presenting a selection of his ‘Rivages’.
